Hi, I'm Shachar Erell

I started out designing books, catalogs, and branding. Then I began designing websites and realized I was going by how things looked, with no real idea what users wanted. So I went off to study UX.

My first product job was at Inkod, where I juggled several cyber products at once, from a massive data protection system with branching flows and different types of users to small things like onboarding. I think of it as my tech boot camp.

Now I’m at Fiverr, working on the big marketplace questions: how does a buyer pick the right seller, how do two strangers learn to trust each other, and how do they talk more effectively? When Fiverr started bringing AI into the product, I worked on the first three AI projects. I’m most excited by products where the problem is messy and the answer isn’t obvious yet.
